This is HKA’s premier professional performing
group for advanced student. This amazing song and dance
troupe serves as an ambassador for HKA. OVATION is a professional
touring troupe that has performed locally as well as internationally.
Their international performing credits include both Carnival
and Norwegian Cruise lines in Mexico and the Bahamas.
They have also performed for the City of Las Vegas, the
Mandalay Bay and Aria Hotels, the Magical Forest as well
as other venues. OVATION is a fun and fast paced troupe
where students learn advanced performing skills in singing
and dancing, with an emphasis in solo work in both areas.
OVATION students are encouraged in the development of
character values such as hard work, self-discipline and
team spirit. At the end of each semester they put on an
impressive 21+ number show. This group is for advanced
students only, who are highly dedicated to the performing
arts. This is both fun and challenging. This fantastic
experience is available to all students by audition only.
Class is held August through June. Auditions are in July/August.

BROADWAY APPLAUSE: Ages 14-19
For our advanced Pro-Series teens, HKA is so proud to
offer our Professional Series BROADWAY APPLAUSE troupe.
This is our advanced professional Musical Theater performing
group for high school-age students and is a core class
for Pro-Series students. This class offers instruction
in audition techniques, advanced singing, dancing and
acting for the stage, specializing in Musical Theater
and promotes the development of character values such
as hard work, self-discipline and team spirit. This course
is designed to help our Pro-Series students to prepare
for professional performing experiences. In BROADWAY APPLAUSE
students perform two big shows during the school year
and participate in the Professional Summer Plays at HKA
during the summer. As a touring troupe, they will be performing in the Las Vegas Valley
. This
class is so exciting and fun. Participation in this group
is by audition only. All students are eligible to audition.

BROADWAY STARS: Ages 8-13
As a part of our Professional Series, HKA is so proud
to offer to all advanced students between the ages of
8 and 13 an opportunity to participate in our professional
BROADWAY STARS. This is our advanced Professional Musical
Theater performing group for elementary to junior high
age students and is a core class for the younger Pro-Series
students. BROADWAY STARS is a touring troupe that has
performed throughout the Las Vegas Valley. This
class is a required CORE CLASS for all Pro-Series students.
It is designed to provide advanced Triple Threat students
with all the skills necessary to become professional performers
and is particularly catered to serious students. Participation
in this group is by audition only. All students are eligible
