Melissa Seastrand - Assistant Teacher
Melissa has grown up in the theater. She has been involved in it since she was a child. She has been in over ten plays and productions. She studied childrens theater for many years and performed in plays twice a year including Tom Sawyer and The Little Match Girl among others. Her studies included singing, dancing, acting and ice skating. She was also a cheerleader. Her school activities began in elementary school with honor choirs and special performing groups. In middle school she went into the choral program and was in the show choirs. Her high school activities involved her in several performing groups more notably the Las Vegas High Schools “Spectrum” performing group (a selcct, fast paced performing group that does review-type productions with full choreography and singing), Madrigal Singers and the play “Footloose”. Her community theater background includes “Seven Brides for Seven Brothers”, “Once Upon a Mattress” and “Annie” among others. Her summer studies took her to Southern Utah University’s “Acclamation” summer camp. Melissa has taught for “Hollywood Kids” as an assistant teacher since its opening and has helped to choreograph all our shows. She is a dynamic performer and a great teacher.
