Ms. Margie Seastrand - Director
Ms. Margie is the owner and founder of Hollywood Kids. Her background includes numerous performing groups and theatrical experience. She first discovered her love for the performing arts in high school where she started studying drama and choral music. She has been involved in theater and the performing arts since that time. She studied private voice lessons since she was fifteen. She majored in drama and vocal performance in college and graduated with a degree in education. Her theatrical studies included Musical Theater, Shakespeare, Opera and Classical Theater. She was involved in numerous choral ensembles including the Ricks College Acapella Choir and select choirs at UNLV. She has had numerous roles in plays and operas including “Hello Dolly”, “Because of Elizabeth”, “Suor Angelica” and “Rigoletto”. Her directing credits include “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever”, “Oliver”, “Seven Brides for Seven Brothers”, “Annie Jr.”, “Salute to Disney”, “101 Dalmations” and “High School Musical”. She loves performing and directing in community theater. She has especially “fallen in love” with directing at Hollywood Kids Academy. Working with the children has brought her great joy.
