Jessica Poma - Director

Jessica was born and raised in LasVegas. She has been a performer since she could talk. Her first solo debut was in church at age three. She is a true Triple Threat Performer. She has studied dance, voice and the theater for most of her life. Her dance career began at age three where she studied and performed at local dance studios. She continued her dance studies on her high school dance team and then went on to study and perform at the college level. She has also studied voice since a very young age performing in church and school groups. In high school she participated in local, state and national honor choirs where she was able to perform under esteemed choral directors such as Weston Nobel of Luther College and Craig Jessop of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. She continues to study choral performance at UNLV. Jessica began her theatrical studies in her early teen years where she began performing with local theater. She continued her studies in high school where she performed in lead roles in plays such as Footloose and Once Upon a Mattress. After high school, Jessica continued to work for the high school drama department directing and accompanying their Broadway review shows and musicals. Being the oldest of nine, Jessica has had a lot of experience working with children. Since the age of fifteen, she has taught piano lessons to her brothers and sisters and many other children in the community. She absolutely loves teaching and has always loved the Performing Arts. She is so excited to work with your children at Hollywood Kids Academy.
