Jessica Elmer - Vocal Instructor/Make-up Artist
Jessica loves the lime light. Put her on a stage and she’s home. Her talent for singing took off when she became the first freshman in the top choir at Chaparral High School, under the direction of Marsha Borovicka. There she was taught the utmost amount of discipline, endurance, and focus. All throughout high school, she participated in Honor Choir, Allstate, Solo & Ensemble, and Regional National Honor Choir in Hawaii. She received only the finest Vocal Training from Heather Polsien for four years and has recently studied under the internationally renowned Voltaire Verzosa. She has received many awards for her vocal and leadership abilities. She has a blast composing and performing music in her band as well as soloing in vocal performances. Since 5th grade, she has played the flute and has accompanied various choirs from elementary schools to National Honor Choirs. She studied Dance since she was four years old, performed in Petite Theater, and was in the show choir at Keller Middle School.
Jessica’s passion truly lies in the arts. Her most recent endeavor has been with makeup. She was first introduced to stage makeup while performing in the musical “South Pacific.” Ever since, she hasn’t been able to take her hands off of it! She was able to continue this as a part of the curriculum at Euphoria Institute. She has done Make up for plays at College of Southern Nevada including: “Gum”, “Mother of Modern Censorship”, and “It’s only business”. Jessica’s fondness for makeup has led her to do a Variety of projects from a Wedding Website with Brilliantimagery.net, “Jesus Christ Superstar” with P.S. Productions, down to prom makeup. In June, she attended a makeup seminar/competition with Ryder Makeup Labs and stunned the judges with her innervated and detail oriented work on both hair and makeup. She is currently the proud Makeup Artist of Billy Gilmore Productions.
Jessica thoroughly enjoys continually advancing her education in different areas by attending seminars, researching, and experimenting. She is a state-licensed Aesthetician at Desert Breeze Massage Spa and has delved herself into the Nail Art Program at the Academy of Hair Design to further expand upon her sweet skills!!
