Beth Seastrand - Vocals, Acting & Choreography
Beth has been dancing, singing and in plays since she was a youngin' and has never given up! She has been in numerous plays, inlcuding "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers", "The Music Man", 'Hello Dolly", "Annie", and "Cinderella". She has especially focused her time on dancing/singing performing groups, and has been in Keller Middle School's "Intrigue", Las Vegas High School's "Spectrum" and her favorite, SUU's "Acclamation". Even though she's what you'd call a "choir brat", (due to her countless choral endeavors on county, region, state and national levels and many section leader positions), her passion lies in muscal theatre. Her own personal vocal traning began at age 14 with teacher Daedre Beaumont, followed by Leslie Koepp, Rebecca Martindale and then the famed Jeffrey Skousen. Having been a nanny for 4 years, she is extremely understanding of kids and their needs. She has taught private voice lessons and strongly believes in the importance of triple-threat training. Most recently she has been given the reigns to HKA's 'OVATION', the premier audition-only group of a few select students. She not only directs their 25+ number shows but heads up over half of their choreography. Her other choreographing credits include Keller Middle School's "Intrigue", SUU's "Acclamation", Hollywood Kids "Salute to Disney" and "Hooray for Hollywood", Hollywood Teens "Hooray for Hollywood", Encore for 3 semesters (Sunrise and Northwest), and "High School Musical 2". She couldn't be more excited to be a part of this amazing program. She loves Hollywood Kids and the chances she gets to not only work with her beloved family, but also do what she loves best: teach and choreograph. |
