Ashley Oblad, a native to Las Vegas, has been in love with the fine arts since she could walk. She grew up in a home where she was surrounded by music and dance, seeing as her parents are both talented musicians. At the age of four, she was introduced to musical theater for the first time and has been obsessed ever since. In high school, she went on to join a highly competitive dance team where she studied for years under such dancers and choreographers as Napoleon and Tabitha D'Umo.

Ashley went on to further her education at Brigham Young University. While there she toured the United States, Canada, and Europe with the International Folk Dance Ensemble and performed with the modern dance team, dancEnsemble, where she was chosen as an assistant to the director. While at BYU she had the honor to speak at the Department of Dance 21st Annual Writer's Symposium where she presented a paper on the history and evolution of Bharatanatyam. Before graduation the Contemporary Dance Division presented her with the "Outstanding Choreographer Award" as a result of her hard work from her senior capstone. Graduation finally came for Ashley in 2009 when she received her Bachelor of Arts in Dance.

Since then, Ashley has been seen on stage performing for a local community theater troupe; the same troupe that hooked her at a young age. It has been her lifelong dream to share her talents of performance on stage. Ashley is ecstatic to make Hollywood Kids Academy her home where she can shed the same dreams on others through her love to teach and perform.
