This summer HKA is thrilled to announce our first ever "Broadway Summer Institute". High School age students will be performing Disneys "High School Musical 2". Get ready for the audition only performance of High School Musical 2! This is a three week rehearsal with a two week run of the show. You will be part of select group of actors which will be given training in singing, dancing and acting. There will be a two week professional show for the public and you will be the stars of the show.
Auditions will continue up till the performance.
Rehearsals begin June 29 thru July 20. Performances start on July 20 thru August 1.

"Troy Bolton"
Steven loves the Performing Arts. He is an amazing musician and has played the piano for years. He has a beautiful voice and even has perfect pitch. He has performed in school choirs and ensembles. He especially loves Musical Theater. He has been in many plays in Childrens theater and has He has also been in Hollywood Kids Academy for many years. His resume includes numberous plays including “Tom Sawyer”, “Oliver”, “Annie Jr.”, “High School Musical”, “She Loves Me”. He will performing in the upcoming community play “My Turn on Earth”. He is very excited to be playing the part of Troy in the HKA production “High School Musical 2”. |

"Violet"
Brooke is a natural born performer. She has been cast in several productions like: Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, American Idolist, Alladin Jr., and Annie Junior to name a few. She is a fantastic dancer. She has studied dance from the age of four, and has aspirations of becoming a dance teacher. Brooke has been with Hollywood Kids Academy for close to a year now, since her arrival to the Vegas area. She loves her directors and choreographers and would like to thank them for all of their hard work and dedication to their art and their students. They are really a special group of people. |

"Rowena Waggenheim" & "Ensemble"
Chataie loves to perform. She loves to sing and dance. She loves music and has studied the violin for many years. She has also studied dance and voice. She has been involved in choirs at school and has a lovely voice. She has also been involved in theatrical productions. She is excited to be in the HKA production of High School Musical 2. |

"Chad Danforth"
Eric has loved to sing and dance since he was a very young boy. He started performing in plays when he was in kindergarten. He has had many parts over the years including Winthrop in "The Music Man" and Oliver in "Oliver" for the Rosel Seastrand for the Performing Arts. He was on the tumbling team, in show choir, and in band playing the french horn while he was in middle school. He has been in several honor choirs in middle school and in high school. He is currently in Madrigals and Show Choir in high school. He was in the very first HKA class and has played several roles including Ryan in "High School Musical". Eric loves HKA and is looking forward to playing Chad this summer. Eric loves his family and can't wait to see what this summer will bring. |

"Sharpay Evans"
Melany was born into a family of triple threat performers. She loves everything about the theatrical arts. She has been singing, dancing, and acting since she was three. She has been in productions such as Annie (where she played Annie), Once upon a Mattress, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, and many children's theater performances. She has been apart of Hollywood Kids Academy since the first day it opened, where she has been in Hollywood Kids, Hollywood Teens, HKA Encore, and Encore Ovation. She was a three year member of an audition show choir in her middle school, where they went and performed at Disneyland, Knott’s Berry Farm, and Six Flags Magic Mountain. She is very excited that she received the part of Sharpay Evans. She loves Hollywood Kids Academy and is happy to be apart of such a "Fabulous" cast! |

Collin loves the performing arts. He has been performing since he was five years old. He has been choir since elementary school. He’s also been in the play “Grease”. He has a beautiful voice, plays the piano and loves to perform. He’s excited to be in the Hollywood Kids debut “High School Musical 2”. |

"Janey Fire" & "Ensemble"
Hannah got her start in the theatre when she was three years old and has loved it ever since. To her, the stage is a world where everything is possible and you can become anyone or do anything. She was there when Hollywood Kids started and takes advantage of every opportunity to expand her talents. She is currently part of the triple threat program at HKA and is very excited about being part of High School Musical 2. |

"Blossom"
Jocelle is a Junior at Bishop Gorman High School. She has been singing and dancing since she was 5 years old. She absolutely loves theatre and all aspects of it, both performing and technical. Her productions include Anything Goes (sound tech), Arms and the Man (Louka), Seussical ( Baby Kangaroo) and Taming of the Shrew (Ms. Curtis) just to name a few. She hopes to pursue theater in college along with a double major in theatrical/entertainment engineering. She is extremely excited to be a Sharpette in the HKA production of “High School Musical 2”. |

"Rosette Shimshank" & "Ensemble"
Courtney has loved to dance since she was a little girl and loves to sing and act. Her experiences include choir for 2 years at Cadwallader Middle School and TV Productions for 1 year in middle school. She is currently a Thespian at Arbor View High School and played the part of Narrator in "Into the Woods". She recently played Sultana in Hollywood Kids Academy's Encore performance of Aladdin Jr. This is Courtney's first year in Encore and she is loving it. Courtney has made many friends that she will never forget and loves them all. Courtney is excited to be playing Rosette Shimshank in High School Musical 2 this summer and hopes it leads to more roles at Hollywood Kids. |

"Martha Cox"
McKenzie was born into a family full of thespians. She grew up in her mothers dance studio and spent countless hours at rehearsals.
She however, would NOT dance on stage! It took a team of her mothers employers to drag her out to her spot. After a year of recital dread her mother decided to let her try other activities. It wasn't until a friend pressed her to audition for a stake play that she decided to try the stage again. That was all it took and now we can't get her off the stage!
She has worked as a teaching assistant, assistant choreographer and is currently choreographing several pieces for her high school and HKA's Broadway voice class. She's an amazing graphic artist and has a tendency to make up ridiculous words and names. She would like a seahorse or waterbuffalo for her sweet sixteen bday in June. |

"Susanna Singleton" & "Ensemble"
Sarah and I am currently enrolled in the Drama Department at K.O. Knudson Middle School. I’d like to thank my parents Edward and Ranae Kanet for encouraging me to attend there. Since I have been at K.O. for 3 years, I have been in a few of their productions. One of them was “Big Mary” by Mark Medoff, where as I starred as Big Mary, an elephant who is put on trial and hung for killing a man. I was also a ‘braniac’ in the musical “High School Musical” by Hal Leonard Publishing Corporation. The last play I was in was “In a Grove: Four Japanese Ghost Stories” by Eric Coble where I played Jiro. |

"Billy Hotrod Flatley" & "Ensemble"
Chaison Theater runs in his blood. His grandparents were producers, having directed and choreographed many successful shows here in Las Vegas and his mother owned a dance studio for much of his early years. His first community stage experience was at age 4 in a show at the Rainbow library amphitheatre. He's done several plays for his school, was in the Live Nativity Pageant, and joined the Hollywood Kids Family last season when he was cast as Aladdin, in Aladdin Jr. He's an excellent student, working towards his Eagle in Scouting and is obsessed with the TV series MONK. |

"Gabriella Montez"
Alexa has been in love with music since the day she could speak. She always used to put on little singing and dance shows for her family. In middle school she was in
band, and her band director encouraged her to sing. After two
years, she finally got up the nerve to sing at a band concert and has
been singing and loving it ever since. At the beginning of her
freshman year in high school, she found Encore and has been in it for
two years. She has three brothers and one sister and she is the baby
of the family. Lexie is very excited about the great opportunity to
play Gabriella in High School Musical 2, and is looking forward to
working with the great cast and directors at Hollywook Kids Academy. |

"Kelsi Nielsen"
Bekah loves to sing, dance and act. She has been involved in many musical activities. Bekah has been in Hollywood Kids for the last six year. Bekah was in Seven Brides for Seven Brothers and in the
production of Annie as the "New York future starlet." She played Ariel in the Salute to Disney production.
She has been featured in many different Hollywood Kids shows. She appeared as Giselle singing "Happy Little Working Song" from the movie Enchanted.
She was Sharpay in the production of "High School Musical." She has had featured solos in the Christmas Show and the recent "Pop Review." Bekah has been in the audition only "Spectrum" show choir at LVHS for the past 2 years. She is a member of the accapella group “Ear Candy” an audition only choir also at Las Vegas High School. Bekah is preparing for the upcoming Ovation show which will be showcasing movie songs. She is looking forward to the upcoming production of "High School Musical 2" this summer when she will star as Kelsi. Bekah is looking forward to all the great shows that Hollywood Kids will be doing and loves being part of HKA’s Ovation. |

"Peaches"
Nellie is a 14 year old who loves singing, dancing, and acting. She was born in Las Vegas. She has always loved the performing arts. She has been apart of HKA for 2 semesters now and has loved every minute of it. She hopes to be able to grow more and become an amazing performer. She is so grateful to be apart of High School Musical 2. She is looking forward to working more with HKA. |

"Theresa Templeton" & "Ensemble"
Regan is a native Las Vegan and has been involved in the Performing Arts for several years. She is an accomplished pianist, dancer, plays the flute and has a beautiful voice. She began her acting career with Hollywood Kids in the fall of 2006. She has performed in “Annie Jr.”, “Salute to Disney”, “Salute to Broadway”, “High School Musical and just completed Aladdin Jr. where she played the role of “Jasmine”. She will be a freshman at LVHS next year. She is looking forward to participating and being the cast of “High School Musical 2”. |

Robby is a sophmore at Centinnal High School. She is participates in choir and drama. She has been chosen for CCSD Middle School and High School Honor Choirs. As well as American Choral Director Association Honor Choir and Nevada Music Educator All State Honor Choir. She has perform in musicals and is very excited about performing in "High School Musical 2." |

"Ryan Evans"
Tyler My experiences at Hollywood Kids Academy have been a life changing experience. Not knowing what a triple threat performer was, I enrolled in a musical review summer camp. It was amazing! I learned all about blocking, singing, and dancing. I was hooked! So I enrolled in a dance camp the following week. Let me tell you one thing, I have never been so sore in my life! I became a sponge, soaking up every single leap, jump, and warm up technique that they would give me. My parents got me to and from there and even though it was a hassle sometime, they supported my full heartedly. Hollywood Kids changed my life and I am so grateful for them and my parents for supporting me. |

Madison loves to act and dance. She is extremely creative and energetic. She is a huge fan of High School Musical and is excited to be a part of thie High School Musical 2 production. She loves her dogs and all other animals. She is excited about entering high school this year and participating in their theatre program. |

Treyden loves the performing arts. In fact his favorite place to be is Hollywood Kids. He just recently completed Aladdin Jr. and loved it. He studies dance and singing and is such a quick learner. He is so fun to watch on stage. His positive and happy-go lucky personality make him such a joy to work with. He’s excited to be part of the HKA premier of “High School Musical” and “High School Musical 2”. |
